“Terms” or “The Terms” refers to “Terms of Service”, this document. In addition, https://www.outfoxstories.com/ is also referred to as the “website”, the “Service” or the “site”. Finally, “us”, “we” or “our” specifies Outfox Stories as an organisation.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Outfox Stories, as they are a legally binding contract. By using our services, you agree to have read and understood these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, then you do not have permission to use our services. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to our services at any time for any reason, including breaching of our Terms. Outfox Stories is for people of 18 years and over only.
Creating an account
Creating an account on Outfox Stories allows you to access more features of the site. It is your responsibility to frequently check the email you used to make an account, as this is where we will contact you with updates, issues and more. It is your sole responsibility to protect and keep private the password used to create the account. If you are concerned about a password leak, or unauthorised use of your account, contact us immediately.
Posting content
Content posted MUST adhere to our Community Guidelines and Content Guidelines. This includes no stories that feature real people, unless they are adult public figures, no sexual content involving minors, no plagiarism and no spam.
Any content that violates our rules will be promptly removed (without notice), as may your account.
The content you write and post on Outfox Stories is owned by you, however you grant Outfox Stories a perpetual non-exclusive licence to reproduce, edit, promote, share both on and outside of our website, and otherwise use the material you post on Outfox Stories for any purpose. This includes original literary works, comments, suggestions and commission requests.
We are not responsible for the misuse of your content by other users. In addition, any loss or damage that occurs to your user content as a result of uploading or posting it to our services is your responsibility.
Payment terms
Accessing certain features of the Services requires the payment of fees. There will be an opportunity to review and accept the amount charged before the initial payment occurs. All fees are non-refundable and in U.S dollars. We may terminate or suspend your account if any amount is due but remains unpaid.
Subscription to our site is possible, and involves you being periodically billed the amount shown to you at the time of subscription. Subscribing authorises Outfox Stories to charge your account on a periodic basis on the day of the month on which you subscribed. You may cancel your subscription at any time, where you will immediately lose access to all premium stories that you did not directly contribute to, and no longer receive any other benefits of subscription. To unsubscribe, go to "account" and "account details" and follow the prompts.
We reserve the right to change the pricing of any features of our Services at any time and without notice.
Referral and Creator Earnings Program
Outfox Stories offers a referral and creator earnings program that allows users to earn rewards when new visitors discover the site through links to their content. By participating in this program, you agree to the following terms:
How the Program Works
When a new visitor first arrives at Outfox Stories via a link to your profile, story, chapter, or adventure, we attempt to attribute that visitor to you. If the visitor later subscribes to a paid plan within 30 days of their first visit, you may be eligible to receive a referral bonus. Additionally, you may earn AI credits when new visitors are attributed to your content.
Attribution Limitations
Attribution is tracked using cookies, browser fingerprinting, and other technical methods. These methods are not perfect, and we cannot guarantee accurate attribution in all cases. Factors that may affect attribution include, but are not limited to: visitors using multiple devices or browsers, clearing cookies, using private browsing modes, browser settings that block tracking, VPNs, shared devices, and technical limitations of our tracking systems. We make reasonable efforts to attribute visitors accurately, but attribution is provided on a best-effort basis and is not guaranteed.
Program Modifications and Termination
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral and creator earnings program at any time, with or without notice. This includes the right to change referral bonus amounts, AI credit awards, attribution windows, payout thresholds, and any other program parameters. We may also revoke, adjust, or withhold any pending or unpaid earnings at our sole discretion. Participation in the program does not create any contractual right to future earnings or program continuation.
Prohibited Conduct
The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate termination from the program, forfeiture of all pending earnings, and suspension or termination of your account:
- Self-referral: Creating multiple accounts, using different browsers or devices, or employing any other method to deliberately attribute visits or subscriptions.
- Fraudulent activity: Using bots, scripts, automated tools, or any artificial means to generate visits, clicks, or subscriptions. This includes purchasing traffic, using click farms, or employing any service that generates fake or low-quality traffic.
- Spam and unsolicited promotion: Distributing referral links through spam emails, unsolicited messages, comment spam, or any other form of unwanted communication. Posting referral links in ways that violate the terms of service of other platforms.
- Misleading practices: Using deceptive tactics to encourage clicks, such as disguising links, making false promises about content, or misrepresenting the nature of the site.
- Manipulation: Attempting to manipulate or circumvent our tracking and attribution systems in any way. Exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities in the referral system.
Payouts
Earnings are paid out via PayPal at the start of each month, subject to meeting the minimum payout threshold. You must provide and verify a valid PayPal email address to receive payouts. We reserve the right to delay, withhold, or reverse payouts if we suspect fraudulent activity, program abuse, or violations of these terms. All payouts are subject to verification and may be adjusted if earnings were attributed incorrectly or obtained through prohibited means. You are solely responsible for any taxes or reporting obligations arising from earnings received through this program.
Copyright
We follow Australian Copyright laws, which occur under The Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) (Copyright Act). Any content we deem in opposition to these laws will be removed, even if it was written in another country. Publishing any original works on our services does not register it in any rights organisation or legal system.
Things you should not do
By using our services, you agree to abide by the following terms:
- Do not break the law. Do not use our site as a means to break the law, including, but not limited to, copyright laws.
- Do not misuse Outfox Stories’ intellectual property or the intellectual property of our users. Do not take any of the content posted on our website, including our logo, our publications and literary works posted on our website by users other than you, and share it on other websites or use it for commercial purposes.
- Do not try to damage or disrupt Outfox Stories website, or harm anyone else’s computer. Do not create or use software or exploits to damage or steal from our website, or to damage other users’ experiences or technology.

We assume no responsibility or liability for:
- Any errors or inaccuracies of content

Changes

Deleting your account
You can permanently delete your Outfox Stories account at any time. This will not permanently delete your stories or other posts on Outfox Stories, unless required by law in your jurisdiction.
