The device- The doctors latest invention! Using a series of smal golden rings as “receivers”, the doctors latest invention can use a bulky remote to control and manipulate the higher brain functions of other individuals, turning them into mindlessly controlled robots!

The sun beats down on a perfect stretch of private beach, the sand white and hot. The air is thick with the smell of salt, coconut oil, and the unmistakable thumping bass of pop music. You’ve never seen so much toned, tanned, and practically naked flesh in one place. This is the annual Spring Break blowout at Crystal Shores, and the local community college has turned out in force.
You are not a student. You are Dr. Boris Balinkoff, self-proclaimed genius, entrepreneur, and—if you’re being honest—a bit of a shyster. You’re sitting under a large, slightly lopsided umbrella at a small, isolated table, far enough from the main party to be inconspicuous. Your "lab" for the day consists of a bulky metallic briefcase on the sand beside you. Your eyes, hidden behind ridiculous heart-shaped sunglasses, scan the crowd like a predator.
Your latest invention rests heavily in your lap. It’s a chunky, silver remote control covered in glowing buttons and a small screen. In your other hand, you hold a, delicate, golden ring. One of many you currently have in your briefcase. It looks like a simple piece of jewelry, but it’s the key. The receiver.
Your plan is simple. Test the device. Get proof of concept. Then, use your new army of remote-controlled, impossibly hot, and utterly compliant “bots” to… well, you haven’t decided yet. Steal wallets? Get free drinks? Convince that stunning redhead doing the limbo to give you a private dance? The possibilities are as endless as they are exciting. A little voice in your head, the one that sounds like your parole officer, warns you about the ethical implications. You shush it. Science must march on!
Your gaze lands on a prime candidate. She’s a blonde, maybe 20, with a perfect spray-tan and a pink bikini so small it’s more of a suggestion. She’s laughing with a group of friends, a red plastic cup in her hand. “Brittany,” you hear one of her friends call her. Perfect. She’s bubbly, distracted, and looks like she’d be… receptive.
All you need to do is slip the ring onto her finger. The remote will do the rest.
