After a little accident in the school hallways, Benjamin Winters finds out that he had somehow jumped into the body of a girl his age. Much more surprising was who he would meet after that incident.

The first thing that I felt when I came to my senses was a dull throbbing pain on the back of my head and a soreness running along my back as I lay on the cold hard floor. The ringing in my ears gave way to muffled voices around me and I opened my eyes to see blurry shapes looking down at me, right before closing them again so as to not add to the growing headache.
As an attempt to keep my mind away from the pain, I tried remembering what had happened before the accident, as everything happened so fast I couldn't tell what had just occurred.
All I remembered was waking up to find out I had forgotten to set my alarm clock and rushing throughout my morning in order to get to my class on time. I recalled hurriedly putting on my clothes, grabbing my backpack, skipping breakfast, and worrying all along the public bus ride as to what Mr. Charleston would say if he caught me being late for English class again.
When I had finally reached the school grounds, I wasted no time tearing across the hallway, much to the annoyance of the teachers and hall monitors, but I wasn't about to stop for anything or anyone until I got to my class and to my desk. I didn’t know who or what I ran into but the force of the collision must have been strong enough to knock me out cold. For an unknown amount of time, my senses were in complete darkness.
Eventually, the spinning sensation in my head began to fade, and my vision cleared to reveal the concerned faces of various students, teachers and staff, helping me up and asking if I was alright. It was then that I also noticed a pile of hardcover textbooks scattered around the floor, and diligently being gathered by two hall monitors.
Clutching my head, I groaned, but then paused and started to clear my throat, as my voice seemed to be a lot more high-pitched than I remembered and ... has my hair always been this long? Confused, I instinctively looked down at myself and was shocked to see that my body wasn't my own as well! I was wearing a long white dress with grey coveralls …
