Liz paced worriedly. She checked her phone, only a few minutes had passed since she sent the text for Susan to hurry up and meet her at their usual spot. Once there, they would meet up at Rachel’s house to discuss what she found out. I hope that creep didn’t get her, Liz thought, feeling disgust welling up in her stomach at the thought of Rachel, ending up in a position like those poor girls found in the bathrooms. Rachel said she took care of him, Liz thought, hoping that will provide some comfort, that has to mean something, right? It didn’t help like she wanted it to.

She growled, frustrated, and was about to call Susan to ask her what the hell was taking her so long when she finally saw her coming out of the school. Susan waved and made her way over. Finally. Liz scowled, “What took you so long?”

Susan held up her hand in mock surrender, “Woah, calm down, alright? Look, I couldn’t bear what was happening to those girls and just stand by and do nothing! So…” she dropped her voice down and made sure no one else was around to overhear them, “I checked through a few of the bathrooms and… I did find some of the girls and I helped them as much as I could. I mainly dried off their clothes and comforted them since they didn’t know what happened to them.” Susan paused, “Some of them were really bad when I found them.”

Liz nodded gravely, I can barely believe what’s happening and I’ve seen proof of it over the past few weeks. Those poor girls, blacking out and ending up naked in the bathrooms with no idea what happened. “Did Rachel text you? She said to meet up at her house, she’ll tell us everything that’s happened so far.”

“Yeah,” Susan replied, “I got the text. Do you think everything went alright? I know Rachel and that… creep have the same powers, and I’m sure Rachel knows what she’s doing, but… I just can’t help but worry, you know?”

Liz nodded. “Yeah, well… since Rachel has her phone and everything I’m assuming she’s fine. I hope she got everything she needed and that whoever it was has been dealt with.”
