Finally. The last bell rang and we were all free to go home. I smiled as I left, happy this will be the last time I'd be seeing most of these faces except when I'll walk the stage in a few weeks. Until then, I don't need to think about that lousy place anymore. By the looks of it, I wasn't the only one who felt this way as I noticed quite a few other students seemed more than happy to practically race out of here.
As for me? I could afford to hold off for a bit since I knew my mom wouldn't be back home for a bit and only my sister would be there. I love my sister and all, but Emily really isn't my first choice for people I want to hang around with for a while. Still, that's not to say I wasn't excited. Mom said she was going to bring something to celebrate me getting into University so I was looking forward to that when I finally got home.
Something I wasn't looking forward to came up as I started the walk home though. Two girls, Diane and Anna, seemed to be waiting for me. I scowled, but kept going. Surely they wouldn't be trying to start something now, right?
“Hey, Gary,” Diane began slowly, “did you think we'd let you off the hook that easy?”
God damn it. I sighed, crossing my arms. I don't know what I did to these two, but ever since freshman year, I've gotten nothing but teases, name-calling, and pranks from them nonstop. Naturally, the teachers have been next to useless when it came to doing anything about them and I'd rather not earn myself a reputation for beating up girls. Of course, that didn't stop them from spreading rumors like that about me and testing just how far I’d go before I threw punches.
Both girls weren’t exactly what most people would think of when you imagined girl bullies. They were pretty, tall as well. Diane stood a bit shorter with me with storm gray eyes and brown hair that went down to her wait. Anna, meanwhile, actually stood …

Diane and Anna continue their torment of poor Gary, this time Anna decides to posses Gary's older sister, Emily and sees if she can torment him more than Diane did yesterday.

I'm going to release chapter 2 of this story later this week. Hopefully release chapter 3 of this story next week. Afterwards, I'm gonna finish The Incident at Milton High and after that I'm deciding on either continuing Once Bitten or writing a different vampire story afterwards.
That's the plan anyway. While I am definitely going to focus on and finish Family Affairs, everything else is subject to change.
Well while I definitely want to see once bitten continue, another vampire story would be really interesting, what are you thinking?

The new vampire story would be set in modern day and will definitely be shorter than Once Bitten. I do plan on continuing Once Bitten don't worry about that.
Glad to hear it! I never really read vampire storys before yours, what do you like about them?

I just really like vampires. I think they're cool and depending on what traits they have I feel like I can experiment with different ideas. Usually I like the difference in power between vampires and humans as well as how intimate and close it is when a vampire feeds from a human.
