His possession of Trevor's being nearly complete, Tom seeks to take full control of Trevor by taking over his body. The problem now is that Trevor's body has again gone missing, and he has a good idea where it could be. Rachel, Liz, and Susan try to regroup with Naomi who seems determined to cut them off.
All characters are 18 or older. -
Where is it? Where is it? Where. Is. It? The question burned through Tom as he searched through the house for any indication of where Trevor’s body could have gone, but, try as he might, he couldn't find any sight of it anywhere.
Worse, as he frantically searched, he could still hear that annoying voice of Trevor in the back of his mind, if that was even the right term to use considering he was lacking a body. He was laughing like crazy right now, taunting Tom that his plan didn't work out. Tom was almost surprised the little idiot wasn't concerned with what happened to his body, afterall, he knew Trevor wasn't able to have moved it, so where could it be?
”What's the problem?” Trevor gloated, ”Angry that you're stuck with me? The little idiot?”
I'm surprised you're not freaking out right now, Trevor, Tom replied, drifting to the first floor of Trevor’s house, afterall, do you know what happens to your soul when your body dies while you're not in it?
”I'll end up like you?” Trevor asked, ”A sad little old man outsmarted by an idiot eighteen year old?”
Tom chuckled, Not quite. You see, you wonder why our powers are so different Trevor? When my body died, a part of my soul died with it. Since then, I've changed, my soul is dying, and my powers have changed. I can no longer possess people the way I've used to, and instead have to rely on other body hoppers to have a semblance of my former power. However, as you've experienced yourself, I can infect other body hoppers and take them over from the inside.
Tom smiled as he felt Trevor's fear, it seems the little idiot was finally starting to piece things together now. Finally.
You see, Trevor? Tom continued, If your body dies because, let's say, you haven't been feeding it or giving it water, then you will end up exactly like me. A lost soul, doomed to wander until your soul fully withers away or you trick some idiot horny body hopper into helping you.
”So that's it, then?” Trevor asked, ”You just want to live again?”
Tom hovered by Trevor’s mother as she was busy preparing dinner. Tom noticed that, despite there being three people in this house -- well, there should be three people anyway -- Trevor’s mom only seemed to …
