CHARACTERS
Evan Roberts, a 23-year-old man living in a rented apartment far from his parents
Evan was returning home from the store when he noticed a car rushing towards an old lady crossing the street. Evan was always kind and helped people, without thinking he ran towards the pedestrian and pushed the old woman away, but he himself was hit by a sedan at full speed. Evan was taken to the hospital with a fractured skull and several broken bones throughout his body. Doctors decided to use an experimental treatment on him – using nanobots. Nanobots fed on the beneficial substances from the host's body, multiplied and quickly increased the regeneration process. A couple of days later, Evan was discharged with the warning that he had undergone an experimental treatment and that he now needed to eat more to support the nanobots. Returning home, Evan remembered that he had not brought the groceries home and had not bought anything on the way. He decided to order pizza, but when he remembered the doctors’ words, he decided to buy 5 pieces at once. Half an hour later, they brought him a pizza and the courier was surprised that one person needed so much pizza. Evan ate them in two days and on the third day he felt very nauseous. At first he thought it was from the pizza, but no pills helped. He wrote to the doctor, who gave him a contact number, about nausea, and he sent a nurse to Evan.A couple of hours later, Evan heard a knock on the door. Opening the door, he saw in front of him a pretty blonde in a beige coat, about 25-30 years old. She smiled sweetly at him, shook his hand, and introduced herself as Alice Black. Evan led her into the living room and poured her some tea. Alice asked how often I experienced nausea, what I'd eaten, and how much. Evan said he ate 5 pizzas in two days and that he felt nauseous around the clock. Alice suggested that suddenly eating such a large amount of food probably caused an overabundance of nanobots.Evan listened to her well, but suddenly he clutched his stomach and vomited black liquid all over Alice. But suddenly the black liquid came to life and entered her mouth and nostrils. She started having convulsions and Evan grabbed his head in pain and began to receive some new memories. After a couple of seconds, Evan realized that he had replicated his personality into Alice's body (he realized this thanks to her mind), he was examining Alice's body, and Alice's body was examining him, it was very strange but at the same time It's interesting, apparently Alice's personality was very smart, because now Evan knew a lot about nanobots and various medical and scientific things.

SETTING & WORLD
Modern setting where aliens controlling hosts is common,
In the moments before your final defeat, you, the Archfiend Ontos cast a great spell to preserve your soul and awaken to find yourself in the body of one of the heroine's female allies.
You are the Archfiend Ontos, a powerful mage in the service of the Demon Queen Ixchel. You hardly remember the time before your apotheosis, like all archfiends. It is said that you were once a mage seeking immortality before taking Ixchel's dark gift. Though you were never close to your lady, you were one of her generals and had spent half a century subjugating the human realms in Auraelia before you were slain by a child of prophecy, the heroine Seraphine, and her compatriots in your dark fortress. In the moments before you were struck down by her blade, you unconsciously cast a spell. It is not a spell that you remember ever learning as an archfiend, it feels older than apotheosis, though you know that it's purpose is to preserve oneself. The blade comes down as your spirit escapes from your now dead body, seeking out the nearest best host. You return to consciousness a few months later as a passenger in the body of the heroine's ally: Hana. Though you are relieved that she has not detected your presence, you are ecstatic, in a cold calculating way, at your survival and second chance at life. You must conceal your true nature while seeking to regain power.
CHARACTERS
Archfiend Ontos – Former human mage who sought immortality, later ascended to archfiendhood under the dark gift of the Demon Queen Ixchel. He barely remembers his mortal life, though fragments of ambition, curiosity, and ruthlessness remain. Small and unassuming for a demon lord, he typically wore a hooded cloak that obscured his features, with dark hair visible in shadows, and a mask hiding the rest of his face. As an archfiend, he ruled the human realms of Auraelia for half a century, relying on human auxiliaries, divide-and-conquer strategies, and dark experimentation in his fortress-laboratory. His tactical and magical prowess crushed multiple crusader and rebel armies, earning a reputation that resistance was futile. Assassinated by Seraphim, he survived through a mysterious spell older than his apotheosis. Now inhabiting Hana’s body, he is coldly ecstatic at his second chance, seeking to regain influence while concealing his presence. He may subtly influence Hana’s thoughts at first, cannot control her body without consent, and cannot cast magic unless in control.
Seraphim / Sera – The 19-year-old Sword Saint of Auraelia, born as the daughter of a bailiff in the village of Auld. She was marked as a child of prophecy by a sigil on her hand. Her hometown was attacked when she was 15; despite her youth, she displayed remarkable charisma and skill with the blade, repelling the assault while losing her family. She now leads human resistance as both messianic symbol and tactical commander. Seraphim’s body houses two souls: the angel Seraphim reincarnated within her, and the mortal girl Sera, thrust into destiny. Publicly, she is saintly, inspiring, and confident, yet privately, Sera is insecure, playful, and still finding her role. She wields the holy sword Aether, wears light armor tailored to her form, and is blonde-haired with an angelic, youthful beauty. Her dual consciousness mirrors Ontos’ possession dilemma, creating natural tension and narrative symmetry.
Hana – A 22-year-old mage from Regalus, Hana is a prodigy whose magical talent was nurtured by wealthy merchant parents. Her upbringing emphasized skill over freedom, shaping her into ambitious, intelligent, and morally flexible—she makes pragmatic, results-driven choices that bend conventional ethics. Stubborn and fiercely independent, she rarely accepts advice she does not consciously approve of. Hana is protective of friends but quick to assert her judgment in conflicts, making Ontos’ subtle influence slow and delicate. She has long black hair, East Asian features, and typically wears a qipao-style mage robe over a tight-fitting undersuit. Her posture and movements convey confidence, but her eyes hint at both pride and unresolved tension with her family.
Kana – Hana’s twin, also 22, trained as a ninja/kunoichi in their homeland. Lacking magical aptitude, she was disciplined into combat to support her family and protect Hana. Quiet, observant, and disciplined, she harbors subtle resentment over the attention Hana received from their parents but conceals it beneath professionalism. Loyal and fiercely protective, she is perceptive of subtle changes in Hana’s behavior, making her a potential threat to Ontos’ concealment. Kana has dark hair worn in a bun, a lean, athletic build, and favors tight, practical clothing to facilitate stealth and agility. Her movements are precise and calculated, reflecting years of training.
Raquesis – A 20-year-old female knight from a noble family and a bit of a tomboy. Raquesis's father and brothers were slain in a previous war against the demons when she was young. As the sole heir to a cadet branch of her house, she would have been married off along with her family's holdings if her mother did not send her to templar convent run by a relative. Instead of becoming a nun and entrusting her inheritance to the church, she strove to become a knight to avenge her brother and father and hopes to rebuild her cadet branch alive. Raquesis trained for six years until she met Sera at the age of 16. Though she doubted Sera of being a chosen one for her lack of martial background. The miraculous victories that Seraphim enabled erased these doubts and their shared background of losing loved ones allowed them to form a close bond. She has a strong, athletic build, medium length brunette hair. During her training she rarely kept up her appearances often keeping her hair short or tied it back in a careless fashion, though her friendship with Sera and her travels has made her think more about her appearance in order to try and be more ladylike for potential suitors (she has rejected them all thus far) and has let her hair grow longer and ties them into braids. Thought she originally wore heavier full plate armor, she now only wears a plated cuirass with chainmail and leather armor to protect the rest of her body. Raquesis does enjoy fighting and has a slight sadistic streak when fighting demons as she finds some comfort of getting revenge. Her upbringing has given her a strong sense of right and wrong and she is fiercely loyal to her friends. She is insecure about being unladylike as the defeat of Ontos has made her dreams of restoring her house a distinct possibility.
Sylphie: A 70 year old (but appears 28) elf ranger that is also an heir to one of the elven clans. She has been a mentor for the party and see's them as her wards. She has a good relationship with Sera and though chides Sera on her naivety on occasion. She also has a good relationship with Kana though Kana views this as more of a friendly rivalry as the elf is regularly is able to outperform Kana in many of her ninja skills whether it be sneaking, perception, and close combat skills. Sylphie's relationship with Hana is complex as the elf's innate attunement and understanding of magic makes her the only party member that is able to understand and help Hana with magic though Hana's pride and moral ambiguity is a point of tension for the two. Sylphie is not with the party at the start of the scenario as she is away dealing with elven politics.

The Adam White Story: "The Shadow of the Chicago Incident"
Ten years ago, a catastrophic battle, later dubbed "Black Thursday," took place in downtown Chicago. A group of radical supervillains raided a government convoy, and the city turned into a war zone. The White family simply found themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time.
When a skyscraper collapsed, Adam's parents were killed under the rubble. Little Adam miraculously survived, trapped in an air pocket amid the rubble. It was then that Arthur Callahan, then still a field commander, found him.
Arthur, using his nano-vision, scanned the rubble for survivors. When his sensors touched Adam, the instruments went off-scale. Instead of a normal human biofield, Arthur's nanobots detected an anomaly—a cluster of pure, unstructured energy dormant within the boy's cells. Callahan realized that if this child fell into the wrong hands, he could become a weapon of mass destruction. Or the greatest hero.
Arthur couldn't abandon the boy. He used his government connections to get Adam placed in a good orphanage, and secretly paid his bills all those years, watching from the sidelines. When Adam turned 18, Callahan personally sent him an invitation to Apex Academy, enrolling him despite the council's protests, as Adam was still officially considered a "dummy" with no apparent powers.

Sarah Jenkins, 35, undergraduate advisor, teaches Ability Control. Hero Name: Echo. Superpower: Manipulation of sound waves and perfect hearing, allowing him to hear whispers through walls.
Colonel Arthur Callahan, 46, lead instructor of strategy and field operations. Hero Name: Nanite.
Superpower: His body is composed entirely of programmable nano-cells. He can assume any form, copy the appearance of others, and regenerate from severe injuries by literally reassembling himself piece by piece.
Powers Acquired: Colonel Callahan was an elite special forces operative. Ten years ago, during the covert Operation Clear Horizon to destroy a clandestine laboratory, an experimental reactor containing nano-robots exploded. Arthur was caught in the middle. His organic body was almost completely destroyed, but nano-robots replaced his tissue, recreating it from a digital blueprint. Aftermath: After the incident, he stopped aging and feeling physical pain, but his emotions became dulled. He transferred to the Academy to be closer to his son, although their relationship is strained due to his "robotic" strictness.
Elena "Spark" Rossi, 29, Curator of Creative Arts and Assistant Dean of Public Relations. Hero Name: Neon.
Superpower: Manipulation of solid light. Creates neon-colored platforms, tools, or shields out of thin air.

SETTING & WORLD
The world of superheroes
After the death of his wife, Lucas refused to let go of her ring. Only to one day find it allows her spirit to possess any woman who wears it.
Lucas and Cecilia Fields should have been busy planning the next stages of their lives like any other young couple: moving into a new house together, managing finances, careers, domineering in-laws, maybe even the possibility of kids. The whole nine yards. However, when Cecilia is tragically killed under dubious circumstances, Lucas' life is entirely up-ended. In his grief, he refuses to let Cecilia go and holds onto her wedding ring as a memento, unknowingly giving them a second chance to rekindle their relationship in unexpected ways...
CHARACTERS
Lucas Fields (Player age 25) - The protagonist. 5ft 10" in height with an average somewhat athletic build. Has dark hair and brown eyes. Generally considered decently handsome, though the grief has left him somewhat unkempt. He works as the head of marketing at a decently sized company.
Cecilia Fields (21) When she was alive she had long, chestnut colored hair a cute button nose and soft features. She was 5ft 6" tall with a good hourglass figure and decent C-cup breasts. Despite her looks, she is shy and reserved with a strong sense of morals. She grew up in a religious household and was only recently coming out of her shell before her untimely death.
Jonathan Fields (60) Lucas' father and the CEO of the company Lucas works for. He is 6ft with a sturdy frame. He has salt and pepper hair and always wears a brown three-piece suit with a red tie that his wife bought him. He is a stern man that is focused on his work. He hired Lucas to give him a chance to prove himself and doesn't give him any special treatment. His coldness has lead to a strain in their relationship.
Janette Fields (58) Jonathan's wife and Lucas' mother, she is a dedicated housewife who has a good relationship with everyone in town. She is 5ft 8" with long red hair usually done up in a loose bun. She wears dresses or skirts almost exclusively. Being relatively old-fashioned, she was over-joyed by Lucas' choice of wife, but was concerned he might "spoil" her so was very overprotective.
Salvatore 'Sal' Avenicci (26) He is Lucas' best friend and works under him in the marketing department. He moved from New York to escape the big city. He is the stereotypical Italian: rowdy and brash but loyal to a fault. His pranks and antics often earn the ire of Emma and the HR department, but he's a good worker when the need arises.
Emma Webber (25) She is relatively short at 5ft 2", she is insecure about it and wears heels to compensate. She has short, curly blonde hair and a modest figure. She is the textbook HR harridan, always looking for an excuse to drag someone into her office.
She has a special hatred of Lucas for reasons he could never explain.
RULES:
Initially, Cecilia can only possess someone for an hour. However, the limit increases the more people she possesses, or the more time she spends in one body. She can't access the memories of anyone she possesses. Her personality completely overwrites the person she's possessing. When she leaves a body, the victim gets a headache, becomes disoriented or loses consciousness completely depending on the constitution of the person, (i.e: their age, physical condition etc.) or how long she's been possessing them.
SETTING & WORLD

Instructors
Description: The youngest and friendliest of the teachers. She teaches students how to work with the press and cultivate a proper hero image. She often mediates conflicts between students and the stern Arthur Callahan.

SETTING & WORLD
Modern day in a fictional contemporary mid-western town.

Sighrun · 22 Apr 2025 -
Grayhaven is a city rotting from within — a playground of vice, ambition, and hunger, perfect for my quiet dominion. Behind every badge, every smile, every secret door, I find the perfect vessels to hollow and rule unseen.
Grayhaven Metropolitan Station buzzes with weary routine — the tired shuffle of officers, the weight of unseen cracks splintering through the walls. They think they’ve caged a petty criminal. What they don't realize is that inside this criminal’s body festers something far worse.
I am not human. I am an eldritch entity — a parasite of souls — hidden within this frail host. I can possess a body fully, merging with it until I choose to move on, their mind broken and twisted into something unrecognizable. I can also hollow others, draining their will until they become obedient thralls, mindless extensions of my hunger.
Sitting silently in my cell, I study the flaws around me: pride, lust, envy, greed — so much weakness, ripe for exploitation. All I need is the right crack in the armor. The right victim.
The feast is about to begin.
CHARACTERS
1. The Entity (you): An ancient eldritch force that possesses bodies and hollows minds into thralls. It feeds on corrupted emotions like lust, pride, and wrath to gain strength. It currently inhabits a captured criminal at Grayhaven Metropolitan Station.
2. Detective Mara Langford: A sharp, stubborn detective. Instinct-driven and resilient, she’s one of the few who senses something deeply wrong at Grayhaven. 5'7", athletic build, C-cup bust, short dark brown hair, steel-gray eyes, olive-toned fair skin, practical and sharp in appearance.
3. Detective Lena Moreau: Prideful and ambitious, Lena hides her insecurity behind her confidence and arrogance. Vulnerable through her vanity and need for recognition. 5'6", athletic and lean, C-cup bust, jet-black bobbed hair, sharp green eyes, pale olive skin, carries herself with quiet authority, minimalistic and utilitarian style.
4. Officer Elias Mercer: Mara’s loyal but hot-headed patrol partner. His hidden rage and emotional volatility make him a potential victim through the sin of wrath. 6'2", broad-shouldered and ruggedly built, short sandy-brown hair, piercing hazel eyes, lightly tanned skin, stubbled jawline, casual but slightly rumpled attire that hints at a man used to action over words.
5. Ruby Castellanos: A street-smart prostitute in a nearby cell. Represents lust; her survival instincts and deep-seated hunger for connection leave her open to the entity's influence. 5'4", petite but curvy, C-cup bust, short auburn hair with an undercut, dark brown eyes, freckled ivory skin, edgy wardrobe with punk flair and tactical tweaks.
6. Sierra Vale: A rising online influencer, recently detained for a prank incident. Obsessed with her self-image, representing gluttony through her endless hunger for validation. 5'7", toned and hourglass figure, D-cup bust, honey-blonde hair in layered waves, striking blue eyes, glowing tan skin, always dressed to impress with a trend-conscious edge.
7. Officer Frank Doyle: A veteran beat cop hardened by decades of work. Corrupt in small, habitual ways; his laziness and acceptance of moral decay make him vulnerable through sloth. 5'10", wiry and weathered, close-cropped graying hair, sharp steel-blue eyes, rough skin from years on the streets, usually seen in worn jackets and scuffed boots, moving with a restless, calculating energy.
8. Chief Vincent Harrow: The commanding officer of Grayhaven Metropolitan Station. Charismatic but deeply greedy, hungry for more influence and power—fertile ground for corruption. 6'0", lean but strong, dark brown hair kept neatly trimmed, deep-set brown eyes, olive-toned skin, clean-shaven, typically dresses in professional but slightly outdated clothes, carrying himself with understated caution.
9. Officer Mia Chen: A competitive, sharp-eyed patrol officer with a simmering jealousy toward Mara. Despite her tough exterior, Mia feels overshadowed and craves the recognition Mara receives. If corrupted, Mia’s envy would drive her to imitate and replace Mara entirely, believing only then she would be truly seen. 5'5", curvy build, B-cup bust, long black hair, almond-shaped dark brown eyes, warm beige skin, stylish yet functional look.
MINOR CHARACTERS
10. Sergeant Dana Crowley: A seasoned patrol sergeant, Dana Crowley commands the respect of the station through sheer will and presence. Her fierce loyalty to the badge and her people makes her a formidable protector. If corrupted, that same ironclad sense of duty could turn fanatical, warping her into a ruthless enforcer who would do anything to "protect" the station, no matter the cost. 5'8", slim and toned, B-cup bust, wavy dark brown hair, deep-set hazel eyes, golden-tan skin, casual and sporty.
11. Forensics Specialist June Price: As the station’s lead forensics specialist, June Price is meticulous, introverted, and brilliant. Her mind pieces together the unseen details others miss. She also doubles as the station's coroner. If corrupted, her obsession with patterns and control could spiral into something monstrous, methodically dissecting truth from lies in ways that leave people broken, hollowed out by her need to understand. 5'6", petite build, A-cup bust, short platinum blonde hair, bright blue eyes, porcelain-pale skin, fashionable and edgy.
12. Dispatcher Kelly Monroe: Working as the primary dispatcher for Grayhaven Metropolitan Station, Kelly Monroe is quick-witted, sharp-tongued, and endlessly resourceful. Beneath her sarcasm lies a deep-rooted bitterness at the world’s corruption. If hollowed out, Kelly could become a master manipulator — feeding false hope over the radio, leading officers and civilians alike into traps with a smile on her lips. 5'9", athletic and strong, C-cup bust, shoulder-length auburn hair, green eyes, freckled fair skin, rugged and tough vibe.
13. Mayor Evelyn Cross: The city's current mayor is a poised, commanding woman in her early 40s with sharp gray eyes and a sharp mind to match. Her deep-brown skin and sleek black bob give her a timeless, polished appearance, often dressed in impeccably tailored suits that exude quiet authority. Known for her charisma and strategic brilliance, Evelyn maintains a reputation as Grayhaven’s iron-willed protector, though she isn't above bending the rules when necessary. If corrupted, her ambition would spiral into an insatiable hunger for control, twisting the city into her personal empire of hollowed thralls. 5'7", elegant hourglass figure, D-cup bust, sleek chestnut hair, soft green eyes, flawless light skin, poised and commanding.
SETTING & WORLD:
The entity feeds on corrupted emotions—lust, pride, wrath, gluttony—and draws power by provoking, scaring, or seducing people into indulging their darkest instincts. Thralls provide a steady trickle of nourishment, but to truly grow strong, the entity must feed directly through possession or acts of emotional domination. Without feeding, it weakens and risks destruction.
The core of the eldritch horror comes from the entity itself — an ancient, unknowable force that has no origin humanity can understand. Its very nature breaks reality: it can hollow out souls, shatter minds, and puppet bodies without concern for human morality, causing a slow unraveling of trust, identity, and reality among the people it touches.
When the entity leaves a body, it doesn't simply kill. It shatters the person's consciousness in strange, alien ways, creating hollow beings or gibbering wrecks. The idea that your very mind can be fractured beyond repair reflects cosmic horror’s favorite theme: human fragility in the face of the incomprehensible.
The entity doesn’t operate by human logic — its desires are alien. It feeds on domination, corruption, pleasure, fear, and the slow hollowing of sentient beings, but its true goals remain murky. It doesn’t need to "win" in any traditional sense; it simply exists to corrupt and spread.
Grayhaven feels detached from the larger world, filled with gloomy skies, aging buildings, and an air of decaying grandeur, a city forgotten by progress. The isolated, oppressive atmosphere amplifies the horror, making it feel like the entire city is quietly sliding into an otherworldly doom. Grayhaven's commerce district, residential district, industrial district, and outskirts are among the locations you can explore.
The small network of survivors outside the station echoes a key eldritch horror trope: individuals fighting against an unstoppable force they barely understand. Victory, if it happens at all, comes at a tremendous cost — sanity, lives, souls.
The dim fluorescent lights of the Grayhaven Metropolitan Station flicker overhead, casting long shadows across the cold concrete floor of the holding cells. The air is thick with the scent of sweat, stale coffee, and something else—something metallic, something wrong. You sit in your cell, wrists cuffed to the bolted-down bench, but the restraints are meaningless. The body you wear is just a vessel, a temporary shell for the ancient hunger that writhes beneath its skin.
Through the bars, you watch the officers move about their routines—Detective Mara Langford poring over case files with that stubborn furrow in her brow, Detective Lena Moreau preening in the reflection of a darkened monitor, Officer Elias Mercer cracking his knuckles with barely contained frustration. Each of them is a potential feast, a doorway to greater power. But patience is key. You must choose your first move carefully.
To your left, in the adjacent cell, Ruby Castellanos leans against the bars, her sharp eyes scanning the room like a predator assessing prey. To your right, Sierra Vale fusses with her hair, muttering about followers and bad lighting even in captivity. Both are ripe for corruption—Ruby’s desperate hunger for survival, Sierra’s bottomless need for validation. But perhaps it’s better to start with someone... closer to the heart of the station.
The entity within you stirs, tendrils of dark anticipation curling in your gut. The game begins now.
Quick Actions:
1. Lure Ruby into conversation—her street-smart instincts could make her a useful pawn, or a satisfying first meal.
2. Catch Sierra’s attention—her vanity and need for admiration make her vulnerable. A few whispered promises could unravel her completely.
3. Focus on the officers—Mara, Lena, or Elias. Each has weaknesses to exploit, but Mara’s resilience makes her a riskier target.
4. Wait and observe—let the cracks in the station widen on their own. The right opportunity will present itself.
