  • Twinning at Life

    Adventure by Funky · 23 May 2026
  • A pair of twins is more than they seem. Theyre about to become triplets, and youre going to help them. Whether you want to or not.

Youre a bit of an average guy. OK, youre shorter than average, dont really fit in, and never really felt comfortable as yourself. But, thats every teen experience, right? You just turned 18, and graduated high-school a few weeks ago. You have no idea what to do now. You’ve just been riding the system like a tutorial, from one goal to the next until suddenly its open world and you dont know what to do. You've never worked a job. Your grades are OK, but not good enough for a full ride scholarship or anything, and your parents arent exactly well off enough to pay for you. You haven't looked at schools or majors. Maybe enlist? But that sounds hard. Youll figure something out. Something will happen. It always does.

    CHARACTERS
Twin girls, both 18. Flora Mia Schmitt and Ivy Lia Scmitt. Both very petite, stick thin. They go by Mia and Lia. Both are about 5'3", both with honey golden hair. They're both starting college out of state in 3 weeks.
-Mia is an A cup with her her hair in a bob. Shes a bit of a prep, always put together and fashion concious. Always in heels, skin tight clothes, or cute dresses. She loves being the center of attention, and dance. Every moment is a performance.
-Lia has hair down to her midback, and is maybe a B cup, as well as half an inch shorter than Mia, but people still have difficulty telling them apart for some reason. Dy dresses more earthy and relaxed. Flats, sneakers, or sandals, ankle length skirts or jeans. Sometimes poofy clothes for the fun of it. shes calmer and more academically focused.
-Jake, an 18 year old guy, middle of the pack just graduated high school, but never really felt like he fit in. Not really sure what to do with his life. He has interacted peripherally with the twins, but thats about it.
-Dani Lynn Jackson, a 17 year old friend. You kind of had a crush on her, but never acted on it. Chestnut brown hair down to her ass. A runner, she does regular marathons. Amazing legs and great ass. And just a friend. Unfortunately. She sticks with short shorts and tight shirts with either running shoes or converses. She has a set of knee high converse she loves.
-Mari Brand Jackson, Dani's 22 year old sister. Biggest tits youve ever seen. You've no idea the size, but she probably has to order them custom. You do everything possible to avoid looking like you stare. And to get a glimpse when youre over. Shes a bit of a group mom, and perpetually single, and the not so secret target of affection for every guy she knows. She sticks with baggy jeans, a baggy yellow hoodie, and converse. Her curly chestnut brown hair reaches mid back.
-Greg Colter, 5'11", a beanpole whos ij serious shape. Your closest friend, which isnt saying much, you were never good at connecting with people. Basically you tend to awkwardly exist in the same area as him. Hes confident, in good shape, and going off to the same college as the twins. Hes paying for it through an ROTC scholarship.
-Marcus Hurley, 5' 8". Bit of a napoleon complex, ironic considering hes still several inches taller than you. Hes not exactly a friend, but you hang out with him. Hes a bit of a weeb, but not overboard. His parents are well off and hes considering his options. Maybe a gap year.

    SETTING & WORLD
Texas, near the coast. The year 201X. Early in the 2010s

It’s a Tuesday morning in late July, and the Texas coast is doing what it always does — baking everything under a hazy sun, dragging humidity through the open window of your bedroom like a damp blanket. The ceiling fan wobbles on its mount, doing less to cool the room than to stir the hot air around. You’re sprawled on your bed in boxers and a faded band tee, the sheets kicked to the floor hours ago. One arm dangles off the mattress, fingers brushing a half-empty bag of corn chips. The other hand scrolls listlessly through your phone.

High school ended three weeks ago. You walked across a stage in a rented gown, got your diploma, and then… nothing. No summer job, no college acceptance letter to frame, no gleaming plan. Your parents keep asking if you’ve thought about trade schools or community college, and you keep saying you’ll figure it out. The truth is, you’ve never really known what you’re supposed to do — not about a career, and not about yourself. Something always felt a little off, like you were wearing a costume that didn’t quite fit, but you chalked that up to being a short, quiet guy who never found his crowd.

A few familiar names flicker across your screen as you scroll. Greg posted a sweaty picture from his morning workout — “ROTC prep is no joke.” Marcus shared a meme about some anime you half-recognize. And the twins, Mia and Lia Schmitt, uploaded a video of themselves trying on dorm room decor. They’re going to the same college Greg’s attending, out of state, and they’ve been posting about it constantly. You’ve talked to them a handful of times at school — Mia’s the showy one, all bright smiles and perfect outfits, while Lia’s quieter, softer, with a laugh that makes your chest tighten in a way you don’t quite understand. They’re both so effortlessly pretty that you always felt a little invisible around them.

A notification buzzes. It’s an Instagram message. From Mia.

“hey jake! 👋 u free today? lia and i are hitting the beach at crystal pier. we need someone to carry the cooler and u have nice arms LOL. come?? it’ll be fun!”

You stare at the message. You do not, in fact, have especially nice arms. Mia must be messing with you. But it’s the first time anyone’s invited you to anything since graduation, and the thought of another day marinating in your own indecision makes your skin crawl. You also notice Lia has liked the message with a little heart emoji. That tight feeling in your chest is back.

    Quick Actions:
    1. Go to the beach. Even if it’s weird, it beats staying here.
    2. Make an excuse. You don’t know them that well, and it’s way too hot.
    3. Text Dani instead. She’s your just-a-friend with the incredible legs, and she might be free for a run or something normal.
