Zoe now has added another person to the growing Empire. But before she heads back home, she has a little bit of fun with them.

Zoe huffed as everything started to settle down. She got off of Powder and readjusted Luke’s clothes.
“Sir! Is everything alright in there?” Zoe heard one of the other workers knocking at the door.
Zoe turned to Powder. “Make up some excuse. I don’t care what, but cover for us.”
Powder nodded and got up. He cleared his throat and in his deep voice, he responded with, “Everything is alright. Shelby knocked over some cans and slipped. Luke and I came in to help her. She’s doing fine. Back to work with you all.”
“Yes sir!”
Zoe smiled a bit, a little proud of having now added Powder to the growing Empire. Having someone with a decent amount of authority was going to be very useful. Once she heard the other employees leave, Zoe let out a sigh of relief. “Alright, this was certainly too close for comfort. I might have played my hand a bit too forward. For now, everyone, go about your duties as usual. Be 100% yourselves. If I need you, I’ll contact you. Got it?”
Powder and Shelby nodded, and Zoe could feel Luke mentally nod as well. With that out of the way, she refocused and returned back to her body.
“That definitely could have gone smoother,” she said, stretching and rolling her shoulders.
“But that also could have gone also way worse,” Cassandra said with a smile, “But you had very quick thinking, Zoe. I expected nothing less than your brilliance.”
“Thanks,” Zoe said, taking another deep breath. “I need to be far more careful about who might catch us in the acts. I don’t want to get anyone in any trouble.”
“If anyone does, then you can handle it like you just did and make them part of it,” Cassandra said, closing her eyes a bit.
“What are you doing?” Zoe asked.
“Learning about Daniel Bartleby. It may prove useful for us in the future.
Zoe was still unsure of how the whole Legion really operates. She barely understood being able to transfer her mind across different bodies, but if she could do that, sharing information shouldn’t be that hard of an issue. The ideas and possibilities that she had started to go wild in her mind. She could literally access any place on Earth with the right people being …
