Alarms blaring loudly broke the quiet city streets on an otherwise normal night, except for the tellers at the West-Side Bank. Dark figures emerged from the double doors of the building wearing hoods and masks while carrying large duffel bags of stolen money. They had been planning this for months.
"We're gonna be rich! That went off perfectly!" One of them men shouted between heavy breaths.
"Too easy, Eh?" Another said in a thick Australian accent.

The sudden resistance yanked her forward several feet, but she compensated by extending her left arm towards the nearest streetlight, giving her even more purchase. The getaway car's rear end lifted off the ground.
"What the -?!" The driver exclaimed, slamming his foot against the accelerator but the tires spun uselessly.
Elasti-woman grinned slyly, "Good effort. Really. But it's the end of the line, boys."
With a controlled pull of her right arm, she dragged the car backward until its rear wheels dropped onto the pavement again. The vehicle lurched to a stop, its driver throwing both hands against the steering wheel as he stared through the rearview mirror.
"Everybody come out with your hands raised slowly; you're all under arrest!" …
